mr revel , do you know how music gets placed onto the vinyl and if I rephrase my question, where can I get it done with price being no object?
there's a 2 grand vestax deck that can record vinyl (all be it special vinyl) OR you need to go to a distributor who can do it.
my mate did it once... they offered him 'x' amount of time in a studio and a limited number of promos, it was like a grand or something... google for further info is your best bet or check out the music section, some of the board members have tracks being released, i.e. Mark Maitland the MIGHT have further info (soz Marky for dropping u in it!) are you wanting like 1 pressing or hundreds? Most places won't do one - too much time/money/effort setting up the equipment
Try asking at the music department at ncl uni, they have a vinyl press and charge £30 per pressing. They should be able to help you
