My Comp. Won't Burn CDs

    My Comp. Won't Burn CDs

    For some reason, when I try and copy a CD in Nero, it defaults as an image recording, and won't let me copy audio (does that make sense?)

    I tried to copy it through Real Player, and that didn't recognise a CD burner. This cannot be a good thing. Especially as I have some CDs to send out.

    Can anyone help pls?

    Are you sure you have a CD writer in your computer? :p

    sounds like you need drivers for your CD writer cos neither of the programs recognise it.

    It was working fine last week though. I don't even know where the fucking drivers are :evil: :cry:

    Uninstall Nero.

    Restart Ya PC.

    Install Nero again.

    Restart ya PC.

    Try that - if that dont work, try removing ya CD-R drive from inside device manager (right click on my computer, properties > hardware >device manager)

    Click the cdr drive and uninstall it - reboot and let windows re-detect it.

    Its just gotten itself in a knot probably.
