its kinda like the shit contestants on xfactor, they say they can sing amazingly but clearly cant. i need to no if its good or not lol. but u do have a valid point. cheers

If you listen to other peoples opinion too much you will just end up making music that you dont think is that good and then, whats the point?

sure, get people to help you on the technical side of things (the production) but I wouldnt take too much notice of what people have to say about the content :king:

Beauty is in the eye of..... etc etc

Yeah mate i totally no what you mean. but content can be totally affected by the production. so if some1 says try this not here instead, and i like it then its a plus. but if im happy with it before hand im not guna change it.
plus you havent listened yet so it could be absolutely pants for all you no lol

your definately on the right track mate, all you need to do is keep practising as with anything,

    what program are u using?

wack a low pass filter running over the melody and to knock the top end of the synth off see what u think,

just experiment with percussion loops and your away :D

use logic pro 7 like mate. i no what im doing on that part. its an old track i made but hated so ive went back and changed everything. i usually leave all the filtering till iv got the notes and sounds working. do you think the kick sounds a little to much like a track from 98?

ive got a folder full of kicks, i just fuck about with them til i get something i like, compress, eq etc then render it as a new wav

musically sounds canny decent, but it's hard to offer any advice as there's not a great deal there at the moment, once you've sorted the percs out and made a longer clip put it up!

i reckon that sidechained pad sounds a bit dry, try putting a loads of nice warm "big room" reverb on it and add a stereo enhancement fx as well, always a winner
