If you want to experience a beer festival and a half go to the one in Munich every year :king:

No pints over there its all in steins (sp) which are about 2 1/2 pints each i think. The women that work in the tents serving you the beer carry three in each hand  i'm not talking butch women either, just normal lasses. Apparently they train so they're able to do it, i was fucking impressed though

The beer is lush though  All the big European brands have a tent aswell. I was hammered after a day of that :drunk:

Some well tasty beers there yesterday!!! Started with Wensleydale's IPA 5.0% and moved onto Sulwath's Galloway Gold 5.0% before trying a local one. The Jarrow Rivet Catcher 4.0%, which was particularly good as was Youngs Waggle Dance 5.0% (tastes of honey), and I finished with Mordue Extreme 9.0%. I only stayed for a couple hours and so I'm off again tonight to complete the list.

It was 3 quid to start, but they give you a nice 1/2 pint glass that you can keep or return for your deposit. Tokens are a quid each and you use them to get ur beer. Not as cheap as I was expecting but still pretty reasonable!

The munich festival is one I definately want to go to before I die, even if its just to see those females walking around with massive jugs!
