had a listen, and its basically just Above and Present: Easy Listning 2008 or Justine Suissa Pres: Above and Beyond

it annoys me when artists such as these produce albums intent on making them selves look cool by making very chilled out loungy trance music, when they place rather fast paced jaw clenching trance, in comparison anyway.

for what it's worth the tracks themselves are good, but not really what oceanlab should be kicking out. it seems as though they've tried to re-create an album like 'behind the sun' or something, but failed. miserably.

and theres only a certain amount of Justine Suissa that i can handle

    6/10 - must try harder.

OceanLab has always been the poppy side of A&B so an album like this was always going to be on the cards. There is huge potential for really good club mixes on all the tracks on the album IMO. I just hope they release them slowly over the next few years and get some good remixes like OceanLab tracks of old.

Although I have to say I prefer the Ferry rmx of Clear Blue Water, still one of my favourite tunes ever. The H&C remix just reminds me of a weird version of Church of Ra for some reason. It's rather similar to their remix of Cry which was also rather similar to Endless Wave too
