OK so i lied then! I remembered writing this so i looked back through my old posts and found this. I wrote it 4 days before the birthday. I in fact only managed 3000 words by the birthday and went anyway. I dont think i was ever gonna stay away really.
I most certainly did! I had a horrible few days afterwards though. I slept all of the Saturday, had to go to work on the sunday and then did fook all in the evening, got about 3500 more words done on Monday and Tuesday, then worked solid from 11am Weds till 8am Thurs. I didnt get any sleep that night and had to go into uni and hand it in. Then i had to go to work as well. Finally i went to bed at 10pm on Thurs and slept for 15 hours straight. So on Friday i got up, went to the pub at about 1pm and attempted to get very very very drunk. I succeeded. I tell ya, its such a relief to have it done and outta the way. Now i can concentrate on the really important things in life, such as......... Promise! Oy yeah, and the other thing is - the dissertation was total crap. It should pass, but not my much. Now i know why they give ya a whole year to do it!
