Fair play indeed; if only my dad owned a top club that booked band A DJ's and had enough money to bankroll my career as a DJ, maybe I would be having a set on Radio One as well. Nepotism Rules

my friend says he has been to the sugar shack (i never been)

the crowd died at the shack a while back!!! think alot of ex shack regulars like myself now venture further a field to likes of promise etc..

on the subject of oli.. he is talented, he deserves what he gets, don't care what his dad is/does. everyone in this industry will use any steps possible to further his career and if my dad owned a nightclub i know i'd be dj-ing there! :D

We should just concentrate on Promise and Richard etc. After all this is the PROMISE website! Let all promotions for that Middlesbrough club stop here!

aye so true man...the days of the shack are more or less over now...but oli aint bad at all...any1 who saw him warm up4 fergie in december will agree with that!fergie was a bit poo that nite, but oli had a hell of a set i thought!+he must b one of the youngest residents in the country too...yeh his dad owns the club, but thats still quite an achievement! + i like the empire as a venue dammit!its soo much more interesting than more or less any venue iv been2!

dont think the point of the post was to promote the empire, merely to praise some1 for an achievement.

imo oli is an outstanding dj in the many times ive seen him ive been really impressed with his mixing. and to win the competition he has a lot of talent is required.

and tbh if he was a promise resident you lot would kiss his arse wether he was good or not

lol@the ex shackers being patriotic, you can't swear alligance to promise and shack ;)

Oli just like richie, is a good dj - no if's buts or maybes... if people can sing sashas praise why can't they sing oli's.. he did have a silver spoon, but he's good at what he does...

Not my thiing, nor is the shack... but hey different strokes for different folks...

And as far as ressies goes richie in my eyes does a better ajob and has a cheekier smile ;)
