almost ready to put a tune ive been messing with to bed - ive been working on it for about a week and i'm starting to go around in circles

i've heard it so many times i could do with some help pointing out the obvious

so if any of you have (less than) 3 minutes spare and want to lend a hand i would appreciate it

the best way to to point out anything you don't like is to leave a time to go with your hate, so i have an idea of what you mean :)

    I like it Jay.
    Its very summery.

I'd maybe filter the vocals a little bit more on the break if thats possible.

thanks for taking time to listen Jimmy :)

what part would you describe as the break, what time does the vocal sound like it needs more squashing? :)

    When there's no kick.
It just sounds a little bit empty at that point.
    I might be wrong like.

i havnt made one up yet - open to suggestions, but im going with 'pop' for the minute

its house tempo, with a motown hook, and a shadey sounding electro-ish synth

Its good that, very catchy. Is that your first effort if so thats pretty impressive? What programs did you use to do it?

thanks for listening matey, appreciate it :)

it still feels like it needs more doing to it, but might end up finishing a couple of versions - full vocal and a dub kinda thingy :)

thanks for checking it out mate :)

not my first ever effort, but i wouldn't say i'm seasoned at it - a lot more production in there than i originally set out to do

im using ableton to do it in :)
