Paolo Mojo - Renaissance compilation Paolo Mojo has mixed the first of a new Renaissance digital compilation series. ‘Renaissance Digital 01’ arrives in September. Renaissance was one of the first labels to bring the humble mixtape out of the bedroom and into record stores back in 1994 via Sasha & John Digweed's progressive house opus 'The Mix Collection'. CD compilations have remained the label's flagship product (they've already notched up four this year), but in September they'll also start putting their faith in online mixes. 'Renaissance Digital 01' mixed by 'Balance 009' curator Paolo Mojo will be sold exclusively at iTunes as a digital download. The 80-minute mix swings between deep house (Sebo K), tech house (Daso, Fuckponydelic) and minimal (Repeat Repeat, Leroy Styles) with three new Mojo productions and a clever Loco Dice vs Blue Foundation mash-up.
