Are there any decent courses on photoshop which doesn't involve me doing some sort of design course at uni?

I'm doin criminology at northumbria at the mo but don't wanna go straight into work and wouldn't mind learning how to use photoshop properly.

i learnt most if it myself just by messing about when i was 15 or so...

your best bet is to get hold of photoshop cs and just go through the basic tutorial/help files and having a go before you look for a course..

theres a tutorial @ http://www.rasterized.org/7/index.html which goes over the basics..
