Pirate radio... Why is there no pirate radio in Newcastle? Surely it would be a wicked way to promote new djs etc.. and to actually beable to listen to decent music without the effort of pickin a cd!! Coz didnt people like Matt Hardwick, Jules etc. all become big by startin off on pirate radio??
There was a station called Throckley fm.It played happy hardcore tunes and was fantastic. I agree we need more pirate station to listen to. Alot of DJ's made there career through these stations. When i lived in Germany there were literally hundreds of these stations playing techno and hardcore 24/7
Did Ice FM start out as a pirate station? before it started getting some real airplay, but then got fucked off by galaxy
