PPL = Pointless Parental Lecture's

Picture the scene, it's the first sunday in april. A lovely spring day, it's 7:45 there's a nice warm sun with a cool breeze. I'm getting a lift into work of my mam and i ask her "Are you going into town this week?"

She replies "yes why?"

So i ask her "Would you pick me up a Pokemon watch from index if i give you the money?"

She then inquire's "What for?"

I say "cause i lost my thomas the tank engine one."

She then proceed's to give me the extended break beat remix lecture of "don't do drugs" followed by a previously unheard verse "If you want to stay awake alnight take caffine tablets there safer and there legal"

And i was like what the fuck all i wanted was a watch!

Now i was just wondering is my mam the only nut ball in the land or do other parents suffer from this crippling dissorder too?

iv never directly had the lecture on clubbin drugs, but they have hinted they no like.

tbh tho, gettin ya mam 2 buy ya clubbin toys is askin 4 it a bit aint it?

I need it for the NEC and i am working all week so i wont have a chance to get it so i just asked her to get it.

i hate it when my mam talks to me about drugs! i never want to appear arrogant towards them but this generation knows fuck all about drugs! all they think is ALL DRUGS=DEATH, its that kind of misinformation that actually does kill

my mams pretty ok actually, she hints at me but never really lectures me. when my bro was younger he had a bad experience with drugs, or 2, and 1 ended in his best mate dying, so i think she feels like she dont need to tell me bout them, i should know from his experience, sensible really!

My mam's fine with drugs - as long as I hold her the belt while she injects

Tis not wrong to ask for clubbing toys! My mum gets them for me! I got a space writer in my christmas stocking and she's surprised me with loads of flashy things an stuff too

Now if only all mam's were like that. Everytime i want clubbing toys a get dirty looks for a week and the "don't do drug's" lecture.

my mum told me once that if i smoke cannabis then i would get addicted to herion.... cos she's seen it on telly.. my parents ask me on a weekly basis whether i do drugs... i mean as if i ever would

After about a year of them asking if I did, I finally told them that I did. I got all the lectures about how they kill etc, but it was one of the best things I’ve done.

I dont think my parents have got a clue about wot i do.

I mean i got in on Friday in some state and my Dad was up eating an orange (dont ask ) and for some reason i chatted to him for several minutes. Any one of you lot could have been able to tell wot id been up to that nite but next day he didnt have a clue and just acted totally normal.

In fact i really regret talking to him in that state cos he is probs gonna come up to me 2mora and say "Do you take drugs?". Shiiiiiiiiiiiiit!

lol @ Orbit, tis never a good idea to be blatent! My mum knows, but not officially tis sort of unspoken but known, she doesnt condone it but doesnt lecture me on it either (probs cos she bin thru it with my brother). But at the same time im not blatent with it, i try to stay away until im totally normal again so as not to rub her nose in it
