Proper Education Love the bassline, love the video, don't care that it's on the radio. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fWdbBhQ7U8A&mode=related&search= Great stuff
Its absolutely awful like but if i was off my tits in a club and it came on i would be al awa the shop At the same time though, its pretty positive for dance music that its at No2 in the charts..
Its not really, Its a horrendous remake of a classic song I dont really see the point of it tbh, if you want to play Pink Floyd on the dancefloor then you just play the original
I listened to Dark side of the moon last night for the first time - totally amazing album. Im sure theres some good remix potential in there (heracy ) Still ... I like Proper Education - Although the radio mix is pointlessly short. A bit of fun i guess
I've heard worse remixes of a Floyd track. A friend of mine Ben Coleman did a not bad edit of this in which he included the guitar solo to make it sound better. Eric's isn't the greatest of remixes like. I think though the worse version I've ever heard of any Floyd track was the Scissor Sister's cover version of Comfortably Numb in which they manged to make it sound like the Bee Gee's singing it. Fucking awful. I think Floyd songs should be left alone.
That womans vocals are immense. The whole album would make a stonking afterparty album - although some of the tunes might induce a few nightmares - auditory headfucks to the max
The bbc showed the live concert floyd did in 1994(?) at earls court just before christmas,it looked class,i would have loved to have been there. One of the best albums ever.
I kind of disagree. Doing a cover of a famous track is pretty obvious and not exactly creative. I watched that Pink Floyd concert. It was class!
