pvd politics of dancing what does everyone think of this cd??? i really cant decide, has some good tunes on (nu nrg, solid sheep ect) but cos hes remixed every tune on the cd the whole of the mix has the same trademark pvd bassline, with different elements of the tunes on top. im not knockin pvd in any way & reckon its excellent hes tried to do more than simply mix other peoples records but i really cant decide on it!!!!
think cd2 is better than the first but after awhile i got xtra bored of it cos it all sounds the same cos of his 're-workin and re-mixin' of all the tunes! his mix of rapture too is really bad...sooo dull!
i was just listening to this last night i actually really like the second cd the first one is ok a lil proggy like. towards the end of cd2 it really picks up like come to think of it has some wikid tunes on it 4 strings into the night and nu nrg dreamland are class!!
THe second cd is wicked.....the first one lesser so but overall its a good album. ITs wicked listening to as your driving along.... THe second cd has some wicked tunes as you've mentioned and is well worth the investment of £15 English pounds....cos PVD is the master.......word. What do people think of his other albums and compilations such as Vorsprunk Dyk Technik and 45 RPM??? ElGrIeGo
Iv just bought Paul Van Dyk - "Perspective" a quite rare 2 cd mix he did in 1999. Havent listened yet but it looks great!
Yep i got Perspective a couple of weeks ago......only really listened to the first cd...but it seems good and very'Van Dyky'.best songs on that cd1 have to be love stimulation and worlds and flaming June. Have a listen to it and tell me what you think... ELG
