Two British holiday rep's have been arrested in the Greek resort of Faliraki as authorities take action over rowdy British holidaymakers.
The pair are believed to have been arrested for allegedly conducting "guided, illegal trade" pub crawls around the resort's pubs and clubs.

them pub crawls they run when u go on holiday are wank. I hate being herded around by some halfwit who thinks theyre dead zany and up for it. yawn

I still don't know how you can get arrested for encouraging binge drinking. Surely at the end of the day its down to individual people. Mind you I hate reps - like charvers they're a different breed of people!

they probably got a massive group of ppl together and encourage them to drink, which is basically what's aginst the law.
on them bar crawls u always get the pissed up slappers/chravers and then every1 else lookin bored and like they want 2 be somewhere else!

It's probably for the reps/travel companies getting back-handers from the pubs you visit.

we went there 18-30 and every nite they tried to make us do these bar crawls....when we kept saying no they wouldnt talk to us anymore.

Also, at the beginning of the holiday they tried to force us to sign up for a number of cubs 4 about 100bar. Club nites on the list included carwash and helter skelter.

Went to Raki last year, not on an 18-30 tho. The reps still came round and tried to flog us these £100 passes, told them where to go.

Anyway the next night we seen a crawl in one of the bars and they were either wrecked charvas or bored lookin peeps

same as when i went to kavos. u just have to tell em to fuck off right at the start. Then they dont even speak to u 4 the rest of the week, so a fun time is had by all

apparently organised pub crawls are illegal in greece (nothing to do with backhanders) they banned them in 1977... fucking great move I say

you can get arrested for it because it's illegal!

were they just banned on mainland greece? or were they banned on the greek islands as well....cos if they were banned on the greek islands then they would have already been illegal in Faliraki before this new legislation

they have them shitty barcrawls wherever u go, specially in scally resorts like faliraki, shag-a-scruff, beni-hole etc

new legislation has been brought about n Faliraki banning all organised barcrawls cos a 17 year old lad got stabbed to death in a club there recently.

It's about time they banned them anyway: they force u to drink too much and basically try to make ppl have sex with each other.

Them barcrawls are shit im pleased theyve been banned. they should ban 18-30 reps from being 'zany' as well - they just get on ur tits and piss every1 off. welcome meetings at 9.30 in the morning when ur dead hungover? nah. they just have them then cos they know ur gunna be more susceptible to saing yes to all the shite stuff they have on offer - i just sat and said NO NO NO i am not going to a cheese nite in ibiza when i could be at pacha - fools!
