review of me and karl on our gig at the quay club Night: Beyond Date: Thursday 31st July Venue: Quay Club Entry: Three pounds before 9 five pounds after. Drinks: 2 for 1 Bottle’s. Music: Underground trance Hard House and Hard Dance Beyond is a trance and hard dance night that has been running on the last Thursday of the month at the Quay Club since January this year. Ran by Dave Lee and Chris Spence A.K.A. dj devious and dj C.P.S. The night was started to offer a cheaper alternative to more established nights with similar music policy’s while whilst being fully behind promoting local talent by listening to mix cd’s and offering local dj’s the chance of a fully paid gig. When I arrived at the venue a fair sized young crowd were getting down C.P.S playing an energetic trance set. After this the evenings guests took over Dj’s JAY-JAY and Karl51 expertly increasing the tempo of the music into the hard house. The two guests were excellent playing tracks such as Fuckin Hostile by Paul Glazby Switching from the more medloic trance by the resident to some the most heavy weight records on the hard dance scence but keeping most of the dance floor while doing this. JAY-JAY was a real livewire behind the decks going mental to the record he and his djing partner played and really got the party going. After this blistering set came crowd favourite Dj Devious playing the more established trance sound which the night is know for. Dave mixed records such as “flight 643 by dj Tiesto adding accapellas over the top of many records to layer his own sound. So if you like the sound of what Beyond is doing and would like to be part of it get yourself along to the next one or send a Mix tape or CD to: PM DJ TMD FOR THIS But be warned from what I heard at this night the standard is pretty good.

why arent there any negative reviews of nites anymore?... everything is always good (not just tlaking about that review.. but most club/night reviews in general) wheres the harshing???
