Solid I have just found out that Solid will not be going ahead due to unfortunate circumstances (I would like to point out that I am not one of the promoters, just the resident DJ)! However, other people involved, who shall remain nameless, don't want to disappoint everyone who is looking forward to a banging night out, so a new night will go ahead called "SALVATION". It will feature some of Newcastle's finest hard house DJs such as Frank Brown (Cause and Effect), Koopa (who rocked the Vibe room on the Promise Love Boat) and KK (from Sunday Trading who played the first Solid and went down really well)! Oh, and some bird called Kerry James. The door price has been reduced, so if you have bought a ticket you will get a refund of the difference at the door. The new price will be £5/£6. Hope this clears up all the rumours, and I hope you will all still come down and show your support.

nah - i know the playlist of DJs ... and up until now Lee is not on that list. but that could change.
Not sure if Lee's style would really fit Solid, especially as people were coming to see the likes of Lisa and A*. Nothing against Lee, he's a good DJ, I just don't think he would fit in on the night.
