If you look at your keyboard, you'll notice you have a row of numbers above the letters too.

If you wanted a job with computers bad enough, you'd get one.

Take your ECDL, then you'll be able to get a job using computers. That's why there are two sets of numbers, not everyone can use the one on the far right...

I passed ECDL without doing the exercises, took me about 2 weeks coz i had to wait for certain exam dates.
Studied for a total of about 8 hours to pass all the modules.

Believe me it aint hard, altho I do know a lot about computers.
Its basically just MS packages like Access and Excel.

The advanced course covers a lot more though.

I was looking at the specification for it, looks pretty easy!

How much does it cost to take like?

Ask at your local open learning centre, if you do have to pay it shouldn't be a lot. I did hear of places doing the courses for free at one point although i'm not too sure at the moment.

I only did the course because at the time I was a workshy drifting layabout who enjoyed taking back all the hard earned money the goverment stole from me in taxes.

I wouldnt recommend paying for the course, and although I found it rather easy there was a lot of people there who it took months to complete the course. Just depends how computer literate you are and how well you know MS Office packages.

It's quite well respected in bog-standard office jobs, but requires next to no knowledge of computers at all.
