South Shields Has anyone here been clubbing in South Shields before? I think its gonna be the new Ibiza, I hear Judge Jules is on at Escape next Saturday
South sheields the new Ibiza!!Dont make me laugh.Just coz the judge is playing a set for 100 knuckled up piss head charvas (and thats all you get in south shields) doesnt mean it is now Clubbing capital of the world does it? I wouldnt rate the judge in my top ten now anyway.Your only paying for the name.Whats the odds of him putting children of the night,or Rush Hour on?

Backwater hick town This made me laugh! Ive lived in South Shields most of my life. It's rubbish as far as clubbing goes. Escape is just the worst place on earth to go on a night out. I would rather sandpaper my knob. Evissa, the only real dance venue in Shields, is crammed full of grade 1'I have a peanut on a string, instead of a brain' charva's, who think they are flying the flag for the underground club circuit. The music is so commercial, it may as well be on sale in Woolworths. Try listening to 'True Love Never Dies' 5 times in a 2 hour period at New Year just gone, it's a very horrible thought! All the local bars are caught in a 1982 time warp. It's party music all the way, no one really cares as long as alcohol in drunk. It's a waste of time coming here and it's not going to get any better either, as far as I can tell. I'm not being negative, just very honest about my 'local' leisure hotspot. [Cringes at the very thought] However, Sorrento's is a pretty good Italian restaurant, if you are in the area. Lee!
HAHA! how funny was it the other week *cant remember where we had been* but i had been out all weekend and still was whistling true love never dies for about 48 hours, putting it in everyones heads i think heard it in the taxi on the way there... p.s i love a good cheeeesey chart music night out occasionally...its funny to have a bit of a laugh at yourself p.p.s i wish some people on this board would learn to read sarcasm....especially when it is sooooo obvious lol
