Subsky - Already There (Forensic Records) OUT NOW Subsky has been releasing some superb music for many years now, and could almost be noted as a veteran amongst the more recent wave of talent from Turkey, in particular his city of Istanbul. Renowned for his melodic, hazy and progressive edged house style, and being crowned best DJ in Turkey 2005 - Goktug Citci aka Subsky has released on labels such as Lost Language, Release Records and more recently the UK’s ever popular Urban Torque. His musical output is never short of supporters, which most Dj’s from Danny Howells to Nick Warren cant get enough of. Forensic is excited to have signed four tracks that showcase Subsky’s production talent. First up is “Already There”, combining subtle acid lines and a smooth building collection of pads, which drop into an almost chilled and moving breakdown while the 4/4 deep drums keep the flow. Not letting the warm deep atmosphere of the original drop, Subsky twists even more acid in and works the classic Roland sound around extra reversed synth stabs into the “303 Dub” The full force of the 303 gives plenty of tension to accompany the groovy bass and chords.
