heres a bit more info on them...

The High Rise Diaries have been gradually establishing themselves on the Northeast music scene, accumulating loyal support and a growing reputation along the way.

The demo tracks; "Bodies", "Made Of Muscles", and "You Are My Ghost" were the first to be recorded in July 2005. These tracks show the bands music in its infancy, debuted at the Chillingham Arms (Heaton, Newcastle) in the summer of 2005 to a tight crowd of loyal family and rowdy friends.

Since then, The High Rise Diaries have recorded "The Young & the Restless" and "Two Weeks In Training" in February 2006, as well as their latest offering "Guest Of Honour".

Gigs have been central to the development of the band, as this is where the songs spring to life with the energy and performance of their live set. Regular attendees to the gigs are familiar with tracks such as "Theatre" and the latest addition "Constant Reminder", as songs which define the band much more than the recorded material can allow. The intensity of a live performance gives a more meaning and purposeful sound to the songs.
