... What do people think? Pluses for me: Upstairs looks miles better than the old one and the windows out onto the street make it feel much larger than it is. New upstairs bar seems great (you can get served there a lot quicker than downstairs) New dancefloor seems a lot longer and better They have a new afro glass collector who isn't a twat Smoking area out the back is canny minus points: Bar downstairs is still shite There's only two loos for the entire place Both sets of steps are still crap (one is two narrow for a fat cunt like me, the other has a massive beam running across you could smash your head off if you were blind/shitfaced/both) Overall it looks a helluva lot better

i'm with phil about the toilets and my only other gripe is i still think that the soundsystem downstairs could do with a small amount of beefing up. Prosumer and steffi was very busy on friday and at times i felt the noise of the crowd was perhaps a little overpowering of the music but not in a good way, just the general drone of conversation as opposed to high levels of excitement for breakdowns and kick ins. Overall though very impressed
Take it they've still got the same sound guy then. He had my life last time I played there Fannying about turning levels up and down and just generally getting in the way. Oh and don't forget the limiter!!
They were having problems with the sound on Friday and said it would be sorted for next time, if I remember rightly
