    Up & Coming Techno/trance !!!

Some peeps know me and some dont - there are alot of new faces on here now and I dont post much. I do apologise but life is hektik! Everyone one I do know, even people I dont, I know your all grand peeps from reading posts and being out. I also valid the views expressed by you lot on here and know you're comments are majoratily (if its a word) constructive!

Anyways enough about you lot :D The site explains who I am and what I do so I wont go on. I am trying to give something to the clubbing scene by learning to produce my own tracks for the enjoyment - of U!

Dont know if im any gud at it yet lol so thought I'd let some of you hear for yourselves, my style and get some opinions from the crowd, so to speak. I would also like some input from the ones on here with the knowledge and give me some pointers.

Most of the tracks that are up are just first preview samples and need more layers, more bass, ect.. well you may be able to point this out...anyways I hope I aint typed this all for nothing, PLEASE check it :) ;) Oh and I would greatly appreciate it if people could leave reviews/ratings :D

Yeh man its all the better - broadens both my horizons and learning. Producing different styles teaches you different techniques, what works at different tempos etc. Also doin a bit of Drum & Bass, house, and breaks, but thats all still to come properly yet - still just a junior at it lol but its fuckin amazing doin this shit, you can create anything your mind fancies once you have the skill to create a sound you hav in ya head.

Hi Aaron, I am going to be brutally honest, basically because nobody else will be! :p

They are pretty awful mate. I couldn't even bring myself to listen to them all...sorry, and I feel really bad saying it...but there isn't really a lot that is good about these tracks.

I'm not a producer at all so I'm not even going to go into any technicalities. But I do know what a hard trance or a techno tune is supposed to sound like and this is not it! It think you need to go back and REALLY listen to tracks from the genre's you're trying to produce for. I mean REALLY listen to them. Because the stuff there just doesn't sound anything like the genre it is supposed to be in. To be honest most just sound like weird noses with beats.

I think you should pick a fairly simple tune that you like (trance, techno, whatever...) and try to recreate it. Get it absolutely bang on and don't even consider making any other tracks until you've gotten it right. That will teach you so much about how to structure and build a track.

I'm sorry to be so harsh, I know it's awful when someone says something bad about something you've worked hard on but I hope I've turned it into something constructive. :)

No way man respect for saying it. I need opinions like this to get it ryt. Wen you listen to it for to long it starts to sound good even if it reali sounds shit, mostly becoz u reali want to lyk it becoz u hav spent ages on it.

I had a good incling that it was the structure and flow that was a part to work on and im glad you pointed this out. Gunna take this advice and re-work the tracks.
