US military unveils heat-ray gun http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/6297149.stm Awesome..... Its like the whole magnifying glass and ants on a larger scale Burn bitches!!
I dunno I picked it up on a couple of news sites this morning... maybe its been known about for ages but they've only just demonstated it 'publically' anyway....
Military officials, who say the gun is harmless, believe it could be used as a non-lethal way of making enemies surrender their weapons. err.... bollocks maybe? let me burn your skin off more like.... getting a bit close to chemical warfare if u ask me...
I think it actually hurts more than being shot for the first few seconds actually. I think that the pain from a gunshot wound can take several seconds to register with a victim and is also somewhat masked by shock quite quickly. This hurts as soon as it hits your skin and until they stop pointing it at you and apparently it hurts like hell. don't get me wrong, I'd still rather be death rayed than M16'd!
Do you think you'd start sparking and emitting flashes just like when ya leave a spoon in a microwave?!
imo its a good thing. Less actually bodily harm.. The same effect though. Apparently not goin into full production till 2010.
This lad I knew at school thought the army would have Star Wars style laser guns by the year 2010. He also said everyone will have flying cars by then aswell.
alot can happen in 3 years REET THIS RAY GUN IS HARMLESS? but makes u feel hot aye, sweet well just grit and bare it
