Valuev vs Haye What does everyone think? The size difference is unbelievable between the two, I honestly don't know which way this will go.
I really don't have a clue to be honest. If it goes to points then I can't see Haye losing because he will throw land a lot more than Valeuv does, as to what damage they will do to him i'm unsure. From a guy of Valeuvs size it just takes one punch to probably hospitalise Haye haha!
That's what i was thinking about the points, but I just watched sky sports and apparently Valuev's been awarded some pretty bad decisions there in the past lol. And yeah his punches look so sloppy, but his arm must weight about the same as my whole body haha.
When you consider the amount of power you lose when punching upwards, can Haye hurt him? I suppose the body yes, but with 22 stone leaning against you that's gunna be difficult, it's gunna be funny i reckon haha.
What time is this expected to start? It wont be daft o' clock because its just in Germany Im presuming. I hope Valuev wipes the little gobshite all over. Will be an interesting contest thats for sure.
I'm watching the Valuev vs Holyfield fight, i'm 5 rounds through and he's terrible lol, I remember reading he got the better of the second half of the fight, but Holyfield was 46 and is easily troubling him. And as for Haye's gob, I think it's class lol
I'd say Haye has more talent than many previous british heavyweight boxers, he's got speed and power and is exciting to watch.
Hayes got plenty talent, nobody knows how good hes going to be at heavyweight so I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt for now
Im not disputing the fact he's got talent but I dont think you can compare him to Ali. He needs to win some big fights like this before he can justify setting his mouth off. Fair play to him if he does win but I think its a big ask.
Lol nobodies comparing him to Ali skill wise. He absolutely destroyed everyone in cruiserweight so he's bound to be confident, I think it spices things up a bit.
Heavyweight boxing needs haye to win this one because its fucking dire at the minute, it baffles me that theres not one decent american heavyweight anymore
MMA in my opinion has definitely had a negative effect on boxing, not that I'm bothered because I prefer MMA. But a lot of the youngsters who probably would have went into boxing 10 or so years ago, now take on mixed martial arts because of its growing popularity and diversity. I'm not saying boxing will die because that's ridiculous.
I think there s plenty good boxers about (except heavyweights) but because of the daft ammount of boxing organisations the best fighters dont like to fight each other because you can win a world title without fighting the other top boxers in the weight. The supersix tournament with froch, kessler, dirrell etc is atleast trying to change that though
