What do the punters really think?? Ok Im starting to lose interest on the price increase thing, but it'll be interesting to see how many think it's a decent price to pay (or will show what percentage of Promise regulars have a high income!!) One Eyed
tis ok cause 1 advantage is u can get 2 4 a fiver or on the other hand u get a drink 4 straight quids instead ov havin shitty change in ur pocket (so there) well thats my point hehe!!! do wot eva cause i dont care, n another thing does any 1 bring out an extra few quid now that they've went up?!? p.s i dont hehe
i dont have a problem with it! price increase happens all too often tho! as buyers we just gotta put up with it or do without, its up to us!........ can i do without me double vodka red bull? nah!
mark what about the prices to get in, i was a bit suprised at the price's on the door for dave seamen, was it just coz it was open til 4? is there an exact price every week or does it vary on wot time its open till?
Well why not charge them for straight £5 notes then you don't have to have any coinage in your pockets. Stupid. Anyway it's £2.50 again so I'll sleep tonight.
the RaNDoM price increases on the door really get me more than anything.... PVD bk in december.. clearly sed £10 on the flyer... but we all ended up paying £14 when we got there... i know £4 aint much but its 2 drinks..well erm not quite.. can i have sum of that change u lot dont want
I was gonna say that about the random door prices but I think Ive gone on for too long about the drinks!! I dont mind £10 for on the door or £14, as long as that's what Im expecting to pay. It costs me a few shiney notes to get to Newcastle in the first place- buses/trains etc. and then having to pay fairs back from Kings Cross/York etc. when u get on the wrong FREAKIN TRAIN!!!! But that's cos of Trevor's stupidity!
For nights when I have been to Promise I have always paid £10 unless otherwise stated by the ** next to the event marked on the flyer.
Its hard one this. The night dosnt really make much money at all & problally LOSE money during the summer months but I do feel a slightly lower price would improve attendances. Promise is NEVER going to a CLUBBERS ONLY club. There isnt the crowd up here & £9+ to "normals" is steap as! Clubbers dont mind paying tenners for named DJ's but thats only about 60 ppl in NCL. Id say £8 or 9 tops for normal nights and whatever for big names.
Id pay muchos ££ to see Van Dyk again after his set @ Gcsss ! I think next time @ Promise if he does ever get booked again its gonna be the best night had there ever - awesome i say awesome
