Well.......Not sure where the "urban" came from! But the "merlin" part i can explain . I was at a party last May (i think) at my mates house in south shields! Had been on the drink all day then we started on "other things" whilst under the influance of these "other things" i had convinced myself i was a Wizard of some sort and started tryin to fly a magic carpet (normal rug) and turn my mates in to all sorts of things, fridge magnets if i remember correctly, with some sot of stick which i was sure was a wand. Everyone thought this was hillarious and started to call me Merl
