this film used to scare the absolute shite outta me wen i was little!!! i mean how scary is the boat scene!

and wot about slugsworth!?!?!?! the man is super scary! and there is sumit strange about the umpa lumpas too mefinx

I always preffered the book, then I was always a geek!

oompa loompa dupa-dee day!! That was a wierd film, I always remember when charlie, and his great grandad where floatin in a big glass room, and the grand dad burped dunno why though!! I was young!!

ahh the ol grandpa me and my friend made some lil discoverys boot ol grandpa greedy twat who is making them by tobacco for him when they only have a loaf of bread to feed the whole family!! not to mention all the yellow stains on his like nightgown thinge!!

i do agree the boat scene is a bit i was fairly scared like!! bloody ell and ol wonka go's a bit loopy in the boat as well!!

Tis a very strange film...but then tis a very strange story.

I was a lil scared at times.

But its no where near as scary as the child catcher on Chitty chitty bang bang, not even freddy is as scary as that fooker was when i was a little'un

oh never seen chitty chitty bang bang like but willhave to see it i love the kids classics!! OH oliver twist and hows bout BFG!!

I gotta say ET is my favourite film of all time it has me in tears every time I see it. They usually have it on @ xmas time but it wasn't this year.

Perhaps I'll buy the video...

this film is warped! we watched it after sundiss/after party at new year. If you look at all the actors their not actually all happy an stuff, their just really eerie and freaky! (we spent the whole time taking the piss out of charlie and his grandpa!)
