    Windows Media Player

About a month ago mine just stopped working for no reason.

When i click on the shortcut to open it, it just makes two bleeps and nothing happens. When i try opening the file program via Explorer, the same happens.

So i thought if i remove it and reinstall it, that might be the best plan. So i did that using the "Add/Remove Programs" thing, and restarted the computer, but the shortcut and files and folders are all still there, but they are not listed in the "Add/Remove Programs" list. So i tried to delete them all and got the following message:

"Cannot delete Windows Media Player: It is being used by another person or program. Close any programs that might be using the file and try again."

Theres nothing using it though. Ive just restarted the bloody comp!

    Anyone?
