erm lee if this was a family messageboard and I was an ambassador to kids I promise I wouldn't use one naughty word... but it aint and I'm sure nobody will take offence at my arguements with messy... however if my posts have offended you I'm very sorry mate as for calling messy a slag - she started it we've had a running slagging match since I first met her, theres a lot of history to this and we had crossed wires - I will go back to calling messy slag and she will go back to stabbing me with a spikey collar... it makes us happy I am very loyal to Promise your right, but I don't think I'm blinded with loyalty - I haven't been clubbing as long as you, but in my 2-3 years of clubbing I've been to various clubs and at most I wouldn't complain at a door price of £13 if I'm getting two medium - big name dj's and a late finish.... but your entitled to your own opinion
Funny farm... Smart E, I am not offended and I seldom get offended, unlike many of the boards denizens. Perhaps you took my amusing reply too seriously; maybe I should dumb down future posts? I have the luxury of 'being older'; this marvellous ability allows me to see though the choppy seas of opinion, and sail through unphazed, every time. Stick to your guns mate. I do, and I'm always proved right, every time. [Big friendly wink] Uncle Lee
Re: Children, step lightly, harsh words breed contempt. You wouldn't need to worry about that with Smart E, he is skinny, young and looks like a puff!!! Please understand this is a joke, I don't want to be picked on!!!
Re: Funny farm... lee your just too grown up mick say that to me in the flesh and I'll knock that smug mackem grin right off your scabby mackem face - wanker!
Zimmer frame heaven... You know it! But, I always keep the magic of childhood alive. After all, clubbers are the biggest kids in the playground. Tee hee Lee
Yup! Thats wot i was tryin to say when i started this thread. Usually it says on the flyer if any of the nights are gonna be extra or Rob or Mark might come on here and tell us. Glad someone got it!
Well, I've had one of those wonderful chill out weekends in the lakes....and look what I 've come back to...nothing much changed around here has there?
I don't think anyone said anything that wasn't constructive (expect for smart e and messy's lil argument! ). A few people said they felt the night was overpriced - they're entitled to their opinion. But I think the point that most people are trying to make is that it would have been nice to have known what the door price was going to be in advance. They flyer did say that friday wasn't going to be normal price....what it didn't say was how much it was going to be. Personally I thought that it would have been a lil cheaper with Timo Maas cancelling.... At the end of the day we all love promise and will pay whatever coz we know we'll have a wikid night. But surely it wouldn't hurt put on the flyer that the 4am nights are £13 (especially for those who aren't in the know)...
oy!!! ive never slagged off promise...i just constructively criticised foundation....NOT promise! anything else that i mite have sed was just down to my dislike of a dj who mite have been on...not actually wingin bout promise! ...incidently i was pissed off with the £13 thing too...thats just cos i had a pretty poor nite like and cos it wernt advertised!
cream is actually a good example to moan at you know when to moan at a club when you pay £50 to go to a new years event, and they try to sell you the remains of the ticket stub *that was your bit to keep anyway* for a fiver on your way out of the club more fool me for ever being a cream regular ooooooh dear
it was fucking shockin i know the dj's r good but that is a rip off, not only r u payin loads 2 get in but the drinks r a fucking rip aswell
