just a tecchie term for ppl that hack others' using stuff they have downloaded off the net etc...

You have to infect the "victims" pc with the trojan before u can exploit it.

You cant just run the program and enter an IP.....that wud be a nitemare if u cud

Totally agree, the expression on ur mates face on a pc at college when you bring up the matrix screen!, thats not hacking tho, sub7 isnt a virus, i consider trojans just as programs, its the people that abuse them who are the twats

And in reply add smarties earlier post, originally the term Hacker was given to people who simply had a good knowledge of computer systems, the old term for a nerd. Sometime in the 80's it was spun round to refer to people who abuse systems.

Just we have been doing this In IT, and alot of what we were told was contary to what you said there.

I knew you could use IP/Hostname and run it through programs like TracerT, VisualTrace etc and trace it back to the nearset town or whatever, but i thought it would be quite so easy to get yor actual address! Pretty scary really.

PS - Id be quite keen to know how you do that!
