    Fids - I've also used the " i signed up the TPS years ago, you are breaking the law, whats your name and company" be they hung up

    Sure fire ways to get rid of them (plus also works with cold calling door-to-door pests)

    1) "it's not my house - It's rented"

    2) "can u wait till after i've done my methodone?"


    Also - Had the church around earlier this year - The bloke said "have u any questions for the chuch?" - i said - "why did u take Roy Castle - he was a good man and he played the trumpet"

    I have never had a problem with foriegn Call centres but then again i dont judge them cos of the race like a lot of people must do, I get polite and quick service everytime, Maybe its cos im not a racist??? Infact i like to interact with different cultures, try having a chat with them like you do the english people when calling call centres it can be eye opening they are just earning a living like we all are

    We had a similar problem at work - A customer had a refund credited to their M&S card except it never appeared on the statement and said funds never turned up...

    ... We rang our store support number, within five minutes we had every transaction they'd ever made on the card in paper form in my hand and we'd worked out the problem was at M&S's end...

    So we took the customer into the office and let her use the phone on conference call so we could talk to the bloke @ M&S about the problem. However he couldn't understand a word she was saying - he thought she wanted to make a withdrawal for some weird reason :dunce: :lol: It got sorted, but only after we got put through to their tech support (english call centre ;))

    Thing is - it doesn't matter what their racial background is, if they can't speak fluent English (and understand the idiom of the language) they shouldn't be on the other end of the phone anyway. It's like employing 500 charvas in a call centre and them speaking in geordie so broad that noone can understand them...
