    my point is that too....

    i'm not disrespecting thier faith, hey have their own beliefs & can do what they want but if i want to fly an ENGLAND flag in ENGLAND, i don't think we should have to be concerned bout what their beleifs are...if we were in our country they'd tell us to shut up if we turned to them & said we found it 'insert correct word here, cos i can't remember' for them to wear clothes tha tcompletely covered them up for example...probs not the best but u's know what i mean! :dunce:

    exactly, I doubt very much if many people of the "minorities" are offended by England flags, and if they are they need a good slap

    iv got nothing against the flags but dont u think they look a bit stipid on the cars???? i was at work today n looked into the car park they look stupid, well i think so :D

    I heard someone make a really good point about all the flag flying the other day. They where saying that the reason some of us (me included) cringe at the sight of people flying the English flag is because it has been used by the far right as a symbol of hate for a long time.

    What can we do about this?

    Fly the flag all the time, every day, on your car, your house, wherever you can because the more you do the less our flag will be associated with far right politics and football hooligans.

    Reclaim your flag.

    sorry to bite but....

    I do pay fucking road tax, are some people really daft enough to think that people on a bike don't usually also own a car???

    If anything cyclists are doing you a favour by keeping a few cars off the road at busy times.

    And slowing up the traffic??? unless you live in a three house village bikes don't slow cars down, it's the other way round. I can easily beat a car from Sheffield city centre to the outskirts (up hill or down) at rush hour. I'd be able to do it faster if it wasn't for selfish twats parking in bike lanes.

    Try riding a bike in traffic a few times, I think it would alter some of your opinions.
