I think it obvious for all to see that Souey is confrontational but I dont think for one minute he is liar. But I do think Bellamy & his agent know that a lot of Newcastle fans didnt want Souey in charge & are at this moment in time trying press the buttons of these fans to get them on side.

with newcastles track record they will end up going after bruce
Anyone with half a brain got to realise that if anyone thought souness was any good they would have given him a 5 year contract instead of 2 he is just a stop gap!. Chances are he will be out in the summer anyway .he is gash.

O'neil would need his head testing for coming to newcastle not that i would complain he would be class, but we should be worried that our best player - given will probs be off to Man Utd or Arsenal in the summer

I see it more the other way round. Souness saying in a very careful and calculated way that "most of all hes let the supporters down". He knows hes wrong, hes too stubborn to admit it, so hes trying to get the fans on his side.

Though the truth probably is its a bit of both. Both are trying to score points off each other.

Has he actually said NO he didnt pretend to have an injury? Cos in the interview after the match, he wouldnt say yes or no and just wiggled his way out of it.

for arguments sake, lets agree the bellamy was going to feign injury in response to being asked to play out of position. if this was one element was true then in my opinion i would not want a player who thinks this is an appropriate course of action at my club.

he is effectively holding the manager to ransom until he complies with his own wishes. consider this in an everyday work type situation, it is the equivalent of pulling a sicky when your boss has asked you to cover for someone. you let him down, you let everyone else you work with down.

I dont agree with what players doing that. But i can see his point, he has played out of position so many times this season, and instead of hearing that we are after a right winger, we are after strikers!

Nobody has given more for the club than him over the last few years, and he is our best player.

Souness should not be in charge of this club. Fat Fred cant admit this mistake.

i agree completely, however under no circumstances can you have players dictating policy to the club. it completely undermines the manager and future managers and if tolerated sets a very bad precedent.

as mentioned by someone before, this should of been nipped in the bud before when it happened with dyer.

Again i do agree with that completely.

It makes it a very difficult situation, and i suppose if it was happening at some other club, id say exactly as you are saying.

But i cant help feeling that i want Souness (poor manager) out and i want Bellamy (very good player) to stay. Even if it sets a precedent.

Souness is destroying this club. He always seems to point to what he inherited too. But tbh what he inherited finished 5th last season. Which was only a dissapointment because of coming 3rd the season before.

if soouness spends too much time munching on the fried cuisine and fine living in newcastle we wont have to fire him because he will end up having another triple heart bypass
