    Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo  He was!!

Maybe it was because I was young and immature but I used to think he was one of the funniest guys around. But hey, we've all got our tastes, and between him and the shit they put on local radio "Hi I'm some twat faking a geordie accent and I'm not funny but we're sponsered by some crap company and we play the BEST music (3 songs repeated all day) NON STOP....now for some pointless local adverts for carpet/curtain/sofa/other furniture shops"

    ....I know what I'd choose :)

    Hmmm...other way around for me.

They used to be utterly boring, now they're only slightly boring. They'd be fine if they didn't do those incredibly long features and you end up shouting at the radio to just play some music.

    I still find the "biggidy-biggidy-bongs" funny :D

Chris Moyles is funny as fuck mainly cos he's so harsh to people.
Spent about 10 mins slating loads of people in I'm a Celebrity this morning.
I love that sort of humour

The question is - is he funny or is he just a one trick pony who basically puts down others solely to get a laugh...

Most of his humour revolves around some kind of put down - which is quite good, but if you took that away from him, what are you left with?...... He also uses the same trick as Chris Evans having a group of people around to make him look good (his whole "posse" sound like they couldnt stump up a single braincell between the lot of them).

I think the masses of britain are quite smitten with his massively watered down "shock jock" type approach (heavy irony there) - but its all been done before and better at that (Howard Stern for instance)...

    Just my two cents.

Well Radio1 have just given him the big slot so they must have faith in him. The breakfast show is much better now

I can't imagine how hard it must be to be funny for 3 hours a day (obviously music, news etc as well)
