The one from London! I think i might have 2 agree wiv you there Ness...on it being Bill Hicks.. but i like Ross Noble aswell! His clothes Bill Hicks is just completely hilarious!
i got an autographed 'phoenix nights series 1' DVD.... by peter kay of course... it says 'shabba!' yes, i am sad.
Eddie Murphy & Chris Rock are both horrendously un-funny. Lee Evans I just want to punch Peter Kay & Billy C =
Nice one ... good to see him doing well .. i never forget @ school when he was asked what he wanted to be his answer was a clown ... he was always funny @ school.
one of me fave bill hicks pieces.... Always that same LSD story, you've all seen it. "Young man on acid, thought he could fly, jumped out of a building. What a tragedy." What a dick, fuck him! He's an idiot. If he thought he could fly, why didn't he take off from the ground first? Check it out. You don't see ducks lining up to catch elevators to fly South. They fly from the ground, you moron. Quit ruining it for everybody. He's a moron, he's dead, good. We lost a moron, fucking celebrate. How about a positive LSD story? Wouldn't that be news-worthy, just the once? To base your decision on information rather than scare tactics and superstition and lies? I think it would be news-worthy. "Today, a young man on acid realised that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration. That we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There is no such thing as death, life is only a dream and we're the imagination of ourselves." "Here's Tom with the weather." class.
Bill Hicks quote "I love the Pope, I love seeing him in his Pope-Mobile, his three feet of bullet proof plexi-glass. That's faith in action folks! You know he's got God on his side"
Eddie Murphy - Raw is fantastic, but Delirious is a bit better imo Eddie Izzard and Jack Dee are hard to beat... Peter Kay and Ricky Gervais are funny but not outstanding. Theres a few who blow hot and cold, Harry Hill, Steve Coogan etc That Iranian bloke, Omad Djalili (sp) who was on Jack Dee a bit ago was hilarious, seen him on tv a couple of times and will defo see if any of his stuff is around!
eddie izzard - dressed to kill nearly spilt my sides the other night peter kay in 'that peter kay thing' the senor whippy epsiode is THE funniest thing ive ever seen, and im not too keen on phoenix nights either.... robin willams live on HBO is supposed to be unbeliveable... i nearly got tickets for it too
Dress To Kill is probs my favourite stand up ever... close tho, defo Izzards best from what ive seen Im not too fussed on Phoenix Nights too, but his stand ups are damn good!
that peter kay thing was one of his first 'jobs' and its fuckin excellent... might buy it an take it back to hmv now its finally been released on dvd.... izzard
yeh, its pre phoenix nights and everything else tho bout 2001? the porn selling ice cream van thats going all out defending its patch against rival ice cream vans is brilliant
