I'd love to know who's been testing it and reporting back to these media outlets. Mephedrone has killed 30 people or whatever it is, and this is gonna ruin europe. It will probably be a right fucking laugh!

it's people who upon post mortem were found to have traces of drone in their bodies - a very different thing to having been killed by it. how many were killed by other stuff they had had?? and given the amount of people doing it now how many deaths by say heart attacks would be expected to occur anyway in that number of people over the same period.
    lies, damn lies and statistics.
the 25 deaths figure is now 'true' and is taken as such by law makers, and Joe Public. It will always be true from now on.

like it is true that Leah Betts died from taking one ecstasy pill
And that people on acid jump out of windows thinking they can fly.
    all 'true'

I know, I didn't actually think that 30 people had keeled over after tickling their taste buds with it ;)

It must be frustrating to the goverment that some of the media are showing both sides, maybe change for the future is on the cards, once we get past the narrow mindedness of the older generations on drugs and what a drug actually is.

did any one see that newsnight report on this the other evening.

the chinese chemists are making a shit load of it, so much so that supply cant keep up with demand.

seems the problmes have arisen when the more unscrupulous chinese jumping on the band wagon are knocking out drone with high level of impurtities

The mephedrone decision "was seen as a quick fix so that the home secretary could be seen to be acting being tough on drugs before an election," he said.

It is pretty amazing how the government have expert advisors, but refuse to listen to them. They're obviously only there so that any decisions made by the government can be attributed to the presence of the experts. Stupid illusion aimed at stupider people.

Well, they aren't strictly 'legal highs'.. Correct me if I'm wrong, but actual legal highs are allowed to be advertised and sold as drugs to be taken, whereas drone needs to be sold as something not for human consumption like the article mentioned. It's a bit of a grey area because everyone knows that £230,000 worth of mephedrone isn't being imported to cater to fanatical botanists ;)

I also firmly believe that it's labelling the seize as 'legal highs' to further emphasize the fact that this new killer drug is legal and is being imported left right and centre in batches worth 1/4 of a million.. oh no! Chaos! :dunce:
