Never go casual to an interview, as formal as you can be without a suit is a sign of respect, shows you've made an effort, rather than turning up in scruffy jeans.

Alternatively, you could always wear a vest ;)

Make sure you know EXACTLY what the job involves- if you have the job description handy then have a good read through it before the interview- cos i have been for an interview before and didnt fully know what the job involved and i got asked and i told them what i knew but they kept asking for more and more detail and i felt like a right muppet!

Needless to say i didnt get taht job:dunce:

Craig - number 1 rule. Even if you're going for an interview as a dustbin man, always go to that interview dressed your best.

I work quite close to the recruitment team and the first thing they look for is your presentation so if you aint got a suit borrow one they automatically give you respect for making the effort

I have an interview on Monday to be a Mortgage Advisor....

I would say a suit but if you dont own one black trousers and a white shirt. Best way to be is just confident - but looking smart helps!

Im just wearing a skirt and a white shirt for my interview- hopefully that should be smart enough!
