exactly, the compo culture goes too far at times but there are many cases where its needed, otherwise companies would get away with murder. the people who play the system probably get caught out more times than not, but enough still take liberties... but i'd rather have companies forced into being responsible than reduced public safety.

outside i'd agree 100%, everyone knows to walk carefully in wet conditions... however inside its different. if there are no signs then you may not be able to see a pool of water... and you have to ask why the water is inside anyway? is it a leak, has someone spilt something? etc etc... some cases are not negligence on the part of the company, but others are blatent negligence.

i wouldn't really class a football ground as inside, its just covered over, its like calling a bus shelter inside.

I'd say at least a third of any football ground was 'inside'.

it wasnt on the terraces it was actually inside, where all the food bits/bars/bookies/toilets are and is 100% inside, its not somewhere that rain can get in.

normally when its wet they have cardboard down like i said to minimise risk but they had nothing down at all.

in the concourses (i think thats what they are called) it is inside and should be kept safe and dry otherwise you'll have thousands of people slipping on their arses every week which we know equals...

How funny would it be if alex fell over and broke his arm, justice

You have a case natalie....you should sort it. But, leave it too long and you will lose out.

As for the painkillers....they always say on the box not to take after a drink. It might not do anything to the vast majority of people but they can't take the risk.

Unfortunatley, even just 3 drinks WILL go against you.

I would still seek some kind of compensation though, for sure.

i think you've got a bit of a case but to be honest somewhere like nufc would prob take so long to sort it out it might not be worth it!

Have a look on Newcastle's website for the names and numbers of the safety officer and the stadium manager, I'd say they would be the first port of call, as it would fall within their job titles stuff like that.

Good luck with your complaint if you go through with it. I'd imagine it'd be easier getting blood out of a stone than any sympathy from Newcastle.
