    OI - dont try and run me into something i never said in the first case.

    FOR THE PERSON DOING IT - its a fantasy. The point was about how the hangups about the age of consent only serve to make the fantasy more exciting.

    Also - its interesting how people jump to the Sara Payne conclusion on a topic about having sex with someone the LEGAL age..... Murder and Paedophillia dont necessarily go hand in hand.

    Hey - dont get me wrong, im dead against paedophillia,..... Theres just alot to be said about our approach to the problem, and the attitudes that have to an extent, excasserbated it.

    I'm pretty sure your not an expert on the psychology of a paedophile and I know I'm not, how can you jump to such conclusions?

    Are you suggesting we should do away with the age of consent to protect our children from paedophiles?!?!?!?

    I have a problem with the new of the worlds naming and shaming campeign... but see no problem in having laws preventing adults form having sexual relationships with children.

    OK i feel im defending a point i didnt intend to put across to a few people, but hey - i guess thats the price people pay for standing left of centre on issues like this.

    This topic is about the attitudes of people towards older people having intimate relations with younger people - And it seems that even when the relationship in question is LEGAL in the eyes of the law, it doesnt stop people edging towards the very british paranoia about paedophillia and the like - Bottom line i dont support it, its just interesting that people seem to get edgy on that issue.

    I don't think this is a media created problem, infact I don't see this as a problem at all, it is human nature to protect the young... the debate is at what age do we draw the line.

    As a society we have decided on 16 I happen to agree with this (to an extent, there are always exceptions)...

    lol!! what...??!! god thought u were meaning me 4 a minute there i was thinking "good lord what is he on about" !!! okay so everyones havin a go at me so im gonna back down with my opinions, i used to be seein a 27 year old when i was 16 4 a lil bit and all i think is that i was so fucking naive at that age it was unbelievable n i neva ended up sleeping with him but at the age of 16 older men used to always have other ideas than just sa "kiss and a cuddle" and when ur that age u dont know better and i just think they take advantage cos they're used to bin with a girl and gettin sex from em, so just expect it from u 2 n try n take advantage, fair enought all older men mite not be like this but a lot of em r.... xxxx

    no it doesn't, it depends on the girl as to whethe society deems it acceptable, you were obviously a very young and naive 16 year old - however if the man in question was with a mature 16 year old it would be harder to frown upon.
