Judge Jules - the man - the music...

Only time i've seen him and i shit you not. My grandmother could have mixed better with her left breast! It was horrible.

Fair enough if ti had been one or two mixes. there just seemed to be far too many fuck ups for man of julesy's stature. He has an almost god like rep but has yet to prove it for me.

he wouldnt be where he is today though if he couldnt mix...granted he might do a few duff mixes but so does everyone!

When Judge was on at Leeds Town Hall this year he done sum really awful mixes, and he kept on just shrugging his shoulders like he wasnt arsed.

But everytime ive seem him up here eithier at the sugarshack or tall trees hes been quality especially the other week at Trees he was really playing sum hard shit which is wot we want to hear !

me knows what ya mean as well dave he certainly seems to have lost all that bootiful trance that he used to play. over the past year or so his sets have got a lot harder and they always used to contain quite a large percentage of trance but that seems to have bin lost for the more technoey sound tunes like ya said. but the whole jules thing hasnt bin lost completley his sets are still very distinctive and unique to him (ok so some of u may laff but me finks so anyway!!!) and although there is several elements of picotto in them, if that makes any sense, he certainly aint a picotto wannabee but i dont think anyone actually said that he was so i think im just gonna shut up!!!

I have 2 agree with ya mate. When he was on at the arena (last time i saw the judge) I thought his mixing was terrible. I will still be in attendance on friday coz the man is a legend and is always gud 2 watch. He was the first dj I first started to listen 2 on the radio and he really was the man that got me into dance music, and the whole clubbin thing just started from there. The best set i've ever heard him play was at eden in ibiza last year. The crowd just went off it when he first walked into the dj booth and his first tune was dj elite -that fuct camera, wow!!!!!! It was also probably the way he interacted with the crowd, he was really going off it! Fucking brilliant memories

Well ive seen jules about 10 times now and i have to say everytime i have really enjoyed. Really like judge jules but he can be a bit of a dick at times.
