i would go in a second

its one of those things i want to do more than anything but never save up for

i think im partly scared to say right im buggering off on my own as well.

im going to africa either this year or next to look after animals though - i can cope with being in one place

my mate did something similar but it was in a school she then went over africa with a tent... had a few scrapes along the way (like trouble with gangs and not gettin in to a hostel so having to sleep in the garden with a load of dog shite   )

but if i had the money i would force myself to just do it - everything will still be here when you get back

    :D

i think you are doing the right thing if its something you havent done before

then at least if it does get a bit scary you have somewhere to turn too

i know if i was going alone to actually travel around, the first place i would go would be oz and nz the reason being the other board i go on has loads of people from there...

being brave is one thing being sensible and protected is another

before i go tooz though i wouldnt mind exploring europe

that might be helpful to you as well - getting used to going places on your own

i intend to start going away for weekends just getting used to booking hotels and everything and being in strange places on my own

we have got the airport really close and the flights can be so cheap :D

having to mix with people on your own, will be easier with a bit of practice and easier when you know you are coming home in 2 days
