    When I scan in normal mode, housecall doesn't pick anything up, however AVG does but can't delete it!

    I'll try Man of and Lee's suggestions tonight.....Cheers guys.

    Good point about checking the registry, althought a bit risky. I think the location is HK local machine>software>microsoft>windows>current versions>run

    Simon I had this for weeks and none of the techies helped :lol:

    I ended up just deleting the whole file AVG kept referencing and it eventually got rid off.

    It's more a pain in the arse than destructive, delete the references in WIN.INI for a short fix for surfing etc...
