How petty is what? Mark asking people not to advertise clubs in direct competition with Promise on Promise's messageboard?

Do Sugarshack let Promise advertise on their messageboard?

Promise and Goodgreef aren't in direct competition.

It may be "only a messageboard", but it's Promise's. Promise is run by Mark so he decides what does and doesn't go on on Promise's board, which seems fair enough to me.

It is a business at the end of the day, and even taking it outside of the clubs context, nobody is stupid enough to deliberately deter business from themselves.

Do Nike's TV ads say "Go on, buy some Adidas Climacool..."? ;)

It's not in direct competition though is it. That night is on the 18th Feb. The February Promise is on the 25th Feb.

    I was generalising ;)

I'm not taking either side here, just trying to explain the business decision behind it, which I agree with.

I'm not really arsed either way, I sure as hell won't be at the shack, and I don't think it's very likely I'll be at Promise either...
