Unfortunatley all the ISP's have jumped on this "limit" bandwagon. It's shit really. You can get unlimited 256k connection, or 2gb limit 512k connection for £19.99 How do they actually enforce it?
The ones that actually enforce the caps will just run something on the server's that count up all your usage...then when u get to your limit i imagine it starts counting up and charging per MB or something...... Limiting broadband - especially with RIDICUKOUSLY low limits is daft! At least Telewest and NTL dont cap their usage!! You can pay a few extra quid per month however for unlimited usage with the likes of Pipex.....thats what ppl shud go for if they cant get cable...
