what i find more funny is the utter shite you come up with as an argument for cd vs vinyl.

unless you're 'a gadgie that can beat juggle, loop, and make sentances' with the 'black magic' you are no different to some one else playing the same songs off ableton or a cdj.

    same crowd reaction. different ego.

the best djs use a combination of both cd and vinyl

but beat matching from cdj's is far easier FACT

I agree with Richie Earl. I still have a pair of 1210's and thousands of vinyls cluttering up my studio room... would never part with either the decks or the records. I still like to play vinyl when a venue actually has a working pair of turntables...

i hear wot you are saying bro... and love your passion towards the 1210's ....and i still love playing vinyl.... but......

what about the dilema of having a tune that you really love only on digital format (like a track you have just made).... so you are saying you would not play this as its not on a certain format??

therefore you are making music as the second priorty and putting a mechanical, material object as more important than grooves and waves maaaaaaaan.

surely getting the music out there is the first and foremost point whether it being on a fisher price cd deck or a 1210 non?

music and track selection must dictate over whatever plays it ?

    :chill:

press it onto to vinyl for £30 , expensive but going back to the roots of putting music out , or casstette , even better

lap tops and cd's give a creative edge for a non creative numpty.

im not the worlds best technical dj , but play good records.

oldskool is different man , just take your cruisafix and put it on minimal hill

but is he as tallanted as someone who would do the above on both records, cd's and other digital formats?

Should a good dj not be able to use any format and be creative in more than one way?
