guy was straight as a dye that night, he said, more than once that promise pissed all over crasher, i can vouch for that!!

in my eyes promise does piss allover crasher, i used to love crasher and go quite regularly, but i think promise is alot better a club, maybe not every1s opinion but its mine!!

I think it is wrong to compare the 2 Crasher is an institution, a global brand name in clubbing, its whole profile is bigger, it owns its own club, it is responsible for a generation of clubbers and there is loads more you can write the list is endless.
Promise is my top night in Newcastle and I will be forever grateful to Mark, Richard,Rob & all the Promise team for what they have done and what they do in the future but Promise isn't even the biggest night at Foundation.

Ok yeah, maybe GodsKitchen do bring in more big names on a regular basis, but nothing will compare to a Promise atmoshpere, not even GodsKitchen.
Also, as you pointed out yourself, GodsKitchen is now just over 5 years old, which ould make it what, about twice the age of Promise?

The Promise promoters try their hardest (and do a bloody good job too, if you ask me) to cater for a wide variety of clubber. As Mark pointed out in his M8 Magazine interview, "We take a lot of feedback from our message board". Now, in your short and may I say utterly pointless time on this board, you will have noticed that we have a wide variation of tastes here. From House, to Prog, to Trance, to Hard Trance, to Hard House to Techno. Promise, trying to keep in everybodys good books, try and book the UK's, and the world's best talent to cover all of these genres. Do GodsKitchen? No, not to my knowledge. Do GodsKitchen cater for a broad taste? No, not as well as Promise. Do GodsKitchen have residents as good as Richard Tulip, Kerry James and Lee Roberts, or the People Get Real lads? I very much doubt it.
You may prefer GodsKitchen, but that is just your humble, and may I say to me, very emaningless opinion. I also presume that you have never been to Promise.
Now, with any other board member who may not be fortunate enough to live in Newcastle, or any of its surrounding areas, I'd suggest a trip up, and maybe a meetup. You, however, I'd rather stayed wherever you come from.

Crashers sound system isnt as loud as it used to be - theres been times ive been there and its been up n down all night more than Jordans Thong

Code ill agree has an unreal sound system along with Promise so it would be hard to put a finger on which is best !

Crasher will always be me favourite club tho no matter what just for the fact that ive had the best nights of my life in there even if i aint been half as much as id like or as much as some !

I'd say its down to taste, Code has one of the sharpest systems I've ever heard, but I think the foundation’s has much more of a punch about it.

But I agree about crashers, it seems to have gone down hill a bit over the past 3 years, cud be time for them to spend sum money on it

Its supposedly being done up at the moment, with a whole new VIP area etc... tho we've heard all that before, it probably means they're going to stick some curtains up and paint the doors a different colour

Once again, it's all down to individual opinion/taste. It doesn't really matter that much tho, does it?
