If you overuse a term like 'racist' by applying it to things that aren't really racist, it becomes cliched and starts to lose its significance, impact and usefulness when someone really is being racist.

Thats why I was keen to question whether or not this really was racism.

Its only racism to laugh at another country if they're generally patriotic? Well, that's the Americans through and through, but noone seems to mind a little fun at their expense.
